Technological innovations are revolutionizing the decision-making processes and changing the way universities are governed and managed, especially in the context of digital transformation in the Morocco. This article describes how advances in decision systems can improve the functioning of organizations in terms of efficiency, strategic alignment, and overall institutional performance. This study is qualitative in nature and investigates the perceptions of different stakeholders of the university regarding the adoption of intelligent decision-making tools and their implications for governance practices. Key opportunities revealed in the findings are improved decision-making, optimized resource use, and enhanced collaboration across academic and administrative units. Nonetheless, resistance to change, lack of financial support and the need for building capacity are also highlighted as challenges. The research emphasizes the potential of intelligent technologies in transforming higher education governance and ultimately enhances institutional effectiveness and strategic agility.
