Unveiling AI and Ethics in Education: A Bibliometric Analysis

The rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly impacted various fields, particularly education. The emergence of AI has led to increased production and development across all economic and social sectors. Integrating AI in education profoundly enhances learning monitoring, personalized instruction, and accuracy in educational processes. This study thoroughly examines the ethics of AI in education using a bibliometric analysis. By utilizing data visualization software (VOSviewer) and “BIBLIOSHINY,” this research expanded the scope of all studies conducted from 2014 to 2024. We identified the most intriguing topics covered in the journals by analyzing a total of 615 articles recorded in the Scopus database. The findings underscore several key research issues and explore ethical considerations through the PRISMA guidelines. The results also reveal various new topics, including AI in education, AI model testing, and the use of social media for educational purposes insights.
