This study aims to examine the determinants of managerial innovation as a part of digitization transformation, using a sample of Moroccan listed firms. Five propositions were verified for the impact of digital technologies, organizational culture, digital leadership, digital skills and the use of work tools on managerial innovation Regression analysis was employed on the 43-company sample. Results show that the adoption of digital technologies has the largest impact on managerial innovation. Managerial innovation is also positively influenced by the organizational culture of agility and collaboration, digital leadership, digital skill or use of digital collaboration tools. The study highlights the importance of promoting a flexible and collaborative culture, integrating digital leadership and ensuring employees have the digital skills needed to support innovation. These results are essential for managers of Moroccan companies seeking to successfully implement digital transformation strategies. The study also provides insights into the need for new management and organization models (NMMOs) in the digital age, while recognizing limitations of sample and methodology, opening up avenues for future research.
