This chapter explores the emotional dimensions of science inquiry, laboratory, and practical work in preservice and inservice science teacher education. The 17 included studies are grounded in diverse theoretical perspectives, ranging from atheoretical approaches to psychological, sociological, and post-structuralist frameworks. Following a review of theory, empirical findings of the included studies are discussed.
