This paper discusses the problem of creativity and the possibility of creating artificial creative systems capable of creating new objects and forming new behaviors in accordance with the set goals. Approaches to modeling creativity in artificial intelligence are considered. Trends in the development of artificial creative systems are discussed, in particular, the use of large language models that allow solving creative problems based on requests in natural language. An example of a system that creates a flying creature with specified characteristics by combining design elements and control functions through modified evolutionary algorithm and special fitness function is given.
