Research on Some Issues of the Processed Surface Formation in the Hydroabrasive Cutting of Chrome-Nickel Steels
摘要
The investigation is dedicated to the study of the surface roughness and waviness formation in the hydroabrasive waterjet cutting of chrome-nickel steels of the Hardox-500 brand. It has been determined that the parameters of roughness and waviness change according to the regime parameters depending on the cutting depth of the workpiece at various levels. Research has shown that irregularities and waviness in the processed surface arise from the physical nature of the hydroabrasive waterjet cutting scheme. Therefore, studying the conformity of roughness and waviness to the law of change in the cutting process can be a fundamental direction for improving cutting technology. Additionally, the measurement of roughness and waviness at certain depths and the acquisition of topographic graphics have been carried out using JENOPTIK profilometer and proflogram device equipped with computer programs.
