The structural scheme of the research facility built for the purpose of studying the operation of the detection device developed for the perimeter security alarm, the experimental study of the frequency change dependence of the generator applied in the detection device on the distance of the person's approach to the 50 m long sensitive element connected to this generator, a graph of this dependence based on the results of the sensitive element length distribution experiment, the algorithm of a program written to detect the approach of a person to a sensitive element of the detection device, and the improvement of the algorithm to eliminate false starts are described in the article. During the study of the detection device in different climatic conditions, the observation of the false “Alarm” signal occurrence, as well as the advantages obtained as a result of the use of the software-hardware platform, real-time and card modules while maintaining the working functions of the detection device have been noted.
