We describe an open-source processing pipeline to generate a synthetic population consisting of individual persons with coordinate-based daily activity schedules for the state of Bavaria, Germany, and the city of Munich. Furthermore, we present an agent-based transport simulation covering the mode choice behaviour of the population. The approach is entirely based on open data available in Germany, which renders the outcomes fully reproducible. We compare the outcomes to regional reference data and discuss use cases and steps for future improvement of the model.

摘要

We describe an open-source processing pipeline to generate a synthetic population consisting of individual persons with coordinate-based daily activity schedules for the state of Bavaria, Germany, and the city of Munich. Furthermore, we present an agent-based transport simulation covering the mode choice behaviour of the population. The approach is entirely based on open data available in Germany, which renders the outcomes fully reproducible. We compare the outcomes to regional reference data and discuss use cases and steps for future improvement of the model.
