The results show that jewelry reinforces gender differences and that higher-quality jewelry reinforces these associations. In addition, significant cross-cultural differences were found, and this study fills a gap in experimental aesthetics by elucidating the impact of jewelry on wearer perception, highlighting the intricate interplay between environmental factors, jewelry attributes, and individual differences.
