In this chapter we will discuss the notion of forceForces in an intuitive manner. We shall think of a force \(\textbf{F}\) , acting on the point P, as the vector that characterizes the interaction of P with other bodies, and implicitly agree that forces have an absolute nature, i.e. independent of a frame. We will return to this in Chap. 8, when we discuss the concept starting from the Laws of Mechanics.

摘要

In this chapter we will discuss the notion of forceForces in an intuitive manner. We shall think of a force \(\textbf{F}\) , acting on the point P, as the vector that characterizes the interaction of P with other bodies, and implicitly agree that forces have an absolute nature, i.e. independent of a frame. We will return to this in Chap. 8, when we discuss the concept starting from the Laws of Mechanics.
