Conceptualizing digitalizationdigitalization as a worlding practice, this chapter introduces the theoretical backbone of the book, including the social self and the saturated self, (cyber-)neoliberalism, accelerationacceleration and resonanceresonance, individualizationindividualization, and (neo-)nihilism.
