The study discusses the changing use of blockchain in the Metaverse, including the main areas like virtual currencies, unique tokens, self-identity verification, game assets and virtual land. They are important for ensuring the security, decentralization and strong sense of presence in a virtual setting. A look at Ethereum-based smart contracts, Hyperledger Fabric, IPFS, DAO and quantum-resistant protocols indicates that over 80% of the data is accurate. In addition, the 2017–2025 results show a constant increase in accuracy, reaching more than 95% in 2022 and preserving high values after that. It demonstrates that blockchain systems are now in higher demand and are many Metaverse applications. It is clear from the results that for Metaverse ecosystems to be sustainable, more focus on interoperability, scalability and security is needed. As a result, blockchain is understood to strongly support trust, decentralization and easy coordination in the digital world, providing crucial support for new digital societies.
