Introduction to the Discussion on the Concept of Reglobalization from a Pluralistic Political Science Perspective
摘要
The globalizing forces of the contemporary world have undergone inexorable changes, undergoing a profound transformation. The post-Cold War liberal order, characterized by open markets, multilateral institutions, and democratic expansion, is being challenged by the resurgence of nationalism, geopolitical rivalries. and demands for a more equitable and human-centric global system. The aim of this work is to reflect on the need for reglobalization from the perspective of specialists such as the IPSA Research Committees officers, hence the title “Perspectives on Reglobalization: Insights from Political Science.” This volume brings together interdisciplinary perspectives to examine the tensions between deglobalization and reglobalization, the changing nature of governance, and the implications for democracy, human rights, and international security.
