The present study aims at analyzing the role of the Ministry of Community Development’s (MOCD) website in enhancing the social, economic, health, and educational empowerment of Emirati women in order to attain sustainable development in the UAE. The study used the case study and qualitative content analysis methods of the MOCD’s website during the period from 15 January-15 March 2024, to identify the MOCD’s strategies related to the empowerment of women and enhancing their role in sustainable development. The study found that the website focused on the economic empowerment of women as a priority, followed by social empowerment, then health and educational empowerment. The website also highlighted the MOCD’s role in supporting the various groups women, especially older women, women heads of household, and women of determination. The website also offered diverse motivational strategies, such as projecting women leader personalities, providing statistics and data that support women’s role in sustainable development. However, it did not sufficiently highlight the financial and moral incentives that encourage women sustain empowerment behaviors. The public interacted with the website through questionnaires and digital consultations. However, there was a lack in highlighting success stories and the effect of Emirati women on sustainable development. The study recommends increasing the emphasis on health and educational empowerment alongside with economic empowerment, providing digital statistics that shows the role of women in attaining sustainable development, projecting Emirati women’s success stories as an incentive for positive interaction, and developing additional motivational strategies that include financial and moral incentives to ensure the sustainability of empowerment behavior.
