This chapter discusses the experiences of visualization creators in making data visualizations accessible to screen-reader users. I showcase two research works that provide a detailed account of the challenges creators face and their perceived importance, knowledge, and prioritization of visualization accessibility. Study design, analysis, and findings from the research works are also discussed. Finally, at the end of the chapter, two exercises are included for readers to reflect on their experiences as visualization creators.
