According to ISO/IEC 22123-1: “multi-cloud is a cloud deployment model in which a customer uses public cloud services provided by two or more cloud service providers”. There are cloud infrastructures which implement this deployment model in order to make it simple for a user/company to exploit different cloud providers at the same time. Thanks to these infrastructures the user can switch from a cloud provider to another in order to save money or exploit specific services that are available only in a specific cloud provider. Unfortunately, keeping these multi-cloud systems up and running requires more effort since cloud providers can change their services anytime and often the API documentation to interact with new/updated services is missing.
