A number of tools have been already developed providing support to the Eco-design methodology in order to obtain environmentally friendly products. However, the current production and consumption models require addressing the design process of both product and service systems and considering sustainability not only based on environmental aspects but also taking into account economic and social issues. Thus, a wider number of works analyzing the sustainability of service systems should be carried out. At the same time, studies integrating tools associated with both issues, the technical assessment and improvement of different sustainability dimensions and the application of collaborative strategies aligned with the needs of all stakeholders involved, should be used. This work proposes a combined use of techno-functional and socio-collaborative tools to achieve more sustainable designs. This approach has been implemented in a study case related with the design of a cultural service. The combination of different tools offers a more comprehensive approach to sustainable design, because ensures a practical sustainability study and the involvement of different stakeholders.

摘要
