Urban Wetland Unveiling the Socioeconomic Benefit and Sociocultural Significance: Reference to Five Different Case Studies
摘要
Wetlands are green-blue infrastructure components that focus on various services. Their focus is on increasing the environmental and social sustainability of urban areas, which are generally considered the urban ecosystem of fundamental areas. To preserve ecosystems in urban areas, it is important to focus on protecting biodiversity while ensuring long-term survival for vulnerable species by contributing to the resilience of the urban ecosystem. There are five cases taken for the study: Tidal Wetlands Programme, New York State, USA, Eastern Kolkata Wetlands, Kolkata, India, Colombo Flood Detention Area, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Spatiotemporal Dynamics of Wetlands, Wuhan, China, Monavale and Surrounding Areas, Harare, Zimbabwe. The scope of the study is to help them understand the different dynamics of wetland and their effect on the local communities and other factors. Using chemical fertilisers and pesticides affects the global growth of different agricultural productivity. In the methodology part, the data analysis will be generated based on the code identified in the collected data.
