Despite disruptions caused by COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, the dynamic development of passenger air transport is expected in current years. This development also takes place in Poland, where activities to improve this transport mode operation are implemented. The article aims to investigate the opinions of West Pomeranian Voivodeship citizens on the possible directions of air transport improvement in Poland. The questionnaire was developed, and survey was carried out among the group of West Pomeranian Voivodeship citizens. The preferable criteria for choosing an airport were investigated. It was stated that according to analysed respondents’ group the waiting rooms infrastructure, including availability of seats, is perceived as the most important infrastructure for passengers’ service in airports. Better connection between the airports and the cities in Poland would improve the quality of passengers’ service. Reducing the flight tickets prices is the most desired improvement direction in respondents’ opinion. The research results may be of interest to decision-makers involved in development of air transport infrastructure and services.
