Impact of Optimized Building Automation on Energy Savings in Building Operations - Analysis of 40 Municipal Buildings
摘要
For municipalities, achieving ambitious climate targets is linked, among other things, to an energy renovation of the building stock. This essentially consists of replacing heat generators, installing photovoltaics, insulating the building envelope and replacing windows. The potential of optimizing the automated operation of technical building equipment is rarely taken into account. Here, the increasing complexity of building technology, shortage of skilled workers, time pressure in municipal acceptance processes and the high manual effort required to check automation functions lead to deficits in the quality of building automation. This motivates the use of automated certification of installed automation stations to meet operator requirements and continuous monitoring of system performance. The article describes the procedure for the analysis of building automation in buildings, documents results from 40 analyzed stock properties and a comprehensive performance monitoring of technical building equipment.
