As part of a project to develop digital construction platform technology that enables a carbon-neutral city by sharing and utilizing public and private data, we aim to develop scenarios to reduce emissions. In the building sector, we intend to derive a scenario that reduces approximately 5% of carbon emissions at the regional level by improving energy efficiency through the application of remodeling packages. These packages enhance occupant satisfaction with the indoor environment, structural stability, and cost efficiency while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In the road transport sector, it is estimated that 20.52% of the greenhouse gases emitted in Korea’s transportation sector can be reduced by improving the traffic operation system, such as expanding flashing signal operation and optimizing signal linkage. Therefore, our goal is to develop a scenario that achieves a 3% reduction in carbon emissions in the transportation sector through the advancement of road traffic operation algorithms. Accordingly, this approach could enable an assessment of the potential for reducing both construction- and road-related carbon emissions throughout the city. Ultimately, it may also support the implementation of greenhouse gas reduction policies tailored to each region.

摘要
