Lung cancer has become a symbol of fear for people worldwide throughout the past ten years. Because of this, numerous nations raise money and provide invitations to numerous academics in an effort to combat this illness. Computer vision (CV) is essential in preventing lung cancer, it can sometimes be more effective than X-rays. However, given the many diagnostic techniques employed, the issue appeared to arise from a time limitation in identifying the presence of lung cancer. Therefore, to identify whether lung cancer is present in a CT scan, an image processing method for lung cancer detection is employed. MATLAB has been used in this study for all of the methods. We quickly go over these elements so that in coming researchers may quickly grasp the issue and decide which way to pursue their research. By utilizing a variety of segmentation and enhancement techniques, we hope to increase accuracy levels.
