It is a major issue in terms of economic performance, sovereignty, confidence, and sustainability. The introduction of high-speed connectivity should revolutionize the activities of rolling stock maintenance centres, with the development of supervision of assets and robotization of process and supervision, in conjunction with BIM (Building Information Modelling) and digital twin technologies.
