This study compared the various routing protocols implemented in MANETs using the NS-3 simulator.In this study, the transmission power values used are 7.5 dBm and 9.5 dBm while other parameters are kept constant. For comparison, the performance metrics such as throughput, packet delivery ratio, packet loss, and end-to-end delay are measured to compare the protocol behavior under these settings. The results of this paper provide an insight into the adaptability of routing protocols towards varying transmission power levels, to help choose an optimal protocol to be used on practical MANET applications.
