This chapter describes briefly the most relevant geodetic technologies and data, geophysical models, and their usages as applications of the theories presented in this book. The background principles of physics are emphasized. These are foci of current researches, and are advancing fast. For the state-of-the-art knowledge, the best learning sources are the recent papers, particularly review papers if available.
