Alternative text is a description of an image on a web page, used alongside screen readers to convey information for blind or low-vision users. In this study, we developed Keller, a browser extension, that automates alt text generation to improve accessibility. Through testing and consultations with different user groups, we identified ways to enhance the alt text generation process. Our findings highlighted four key themes: the importance of detailed image descriptions, usability and satisfaction with the extension, differing perceptions of audio descriptions across different user groups, and the need to balance information detail with speed. Based on our findings, we recommend improving Keller's installation process, expanding browser compatibility, integrating better with screen readers, developing a mobile version, enhancing compatibility with various technologies, and adding support for describing videos. Future research should involve a wider range of participants, particularly in the Philippines, to further refine Keller's effectiveness and ensure better accessibility across websites.
