The article offers a methodology of building a system of incentives on the basis of consideration of motivational features of labour activity with the aim of improvement of strategic management of human resources at IT enterprises. The study applies a number of methods: the method of dynamic series—to analyze the trend of development of the IT industry, M. Porter's method of preference rhombus—to analyze the determinants that affect the qualitative parameters and quantitative indicators of human resources of enterprises in the industry; the method of building a motivational profile—to identify common motivational types among employees of IT enterprises. The article allocates and analyses determinants that influence qualitative parameters and quantitative indicators of provision of IT industry enterprises with human resources, studies the nature of their influence and traces structural and logical interrelations between them. This study uses a methodology based on the typological model of labour motivation to build a motivational profile of IT company employees and identify common motivational types and the corresponding recommended methods of incentives for them. An infogram of correspondence of incentive methods to the motivational types of employees of IT enterprises is built and the results of the study are visualised. The practical significance of the infogram is to simplify the construction of an incentive system at IT enterprises by formalising the process of determining incentive methods in accordance with the motivational types of employees and the specifics of work in the IT sector.
