Introduction: The Antichrist and the Revaluation of All Values
摘要
The first chapter consists of two parts. In the first I briefly present the argument of this book – that The Antichrist was written as the first of four volumes of Nietzsche’s planned magnum opus (Hauptwerk), that he had been working on since at least 1884. In this book, The Antichrist is, for the first time, discussed in this sense and context. There is less emphasis on Nietzsche’s critique of Christianity and more on what we can learn about the three un-written volumes and about Nietzsche’s views of values and of revaluing values. In the second part, I present Nietzsche’s plans for the Revaluation of All Values, mainly by presenting, in two tables, and discussing Nietzsche’s many planned chapter titles of the contents of the three un-written volumes.
