This article examines the empowerment of ideological and political course teaching by AI within the context of educational digitalization, analyzing it from three dimensions: value implications, practical challenges, and optimization paths. At the level of value implications, AI-empowered ideological and political course teaching demonstrates innovative potential through enriched content, expanded domains, and enhanced efficiency. It can extend the boundaries of knowledge, transcend temporal and spatial constraints, and transform teaching paradigms. However, in practical implementation, the integration of AI into ideological and political course teaching encounters numerous challenges. To enhance the quality and efficiency of AI-empowered ideological and political course teaching, this paper proposes specific optimization strategies aimed at fostering the deep integration of AI with ideological and political education. These strategies seek to improve the relevance and effectiveness of ideological and political education while providing theoretical and practical support for nurturing talents capable of shouldering the significant responsibility of national rejuvenation.
