On Policy: Challenges and Opportunities for Africa and Europe
摘要
From the perception of, and reaction to, African migration by both Africa and Europe as discussed in Chaps. 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and 5 , it is not far-fetched to claim that the perception of African migration is apparently negative. As I have already mentioned, if you analyse both Africa’s reaction to migration from Africa and Europe’s reaction to migration from Africa, you will see why perception matters. If you examine the status and dimensions of migratory flows from some African states to other African states, both in contemporary time and in pre-colonial time, you will see that perception matters. And if you examine the status of migratory flow from Africa to Europe, both in contemporary time and in colonial time, you will also see that perception matters.
