The Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic Study
摘要
The Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic Study was conducted by ten collaborators in the United States, Brazil, Italy, Türkiye, Japan, Indonesia, and Nigeria. The 2077 participants included older nonstudents as well as students. For both positive and negative well-being items before the pandemic, married women and men felt more of the positive items, and less of some negative items, than singles. Regarding changes at the peak of the pandemic, married women reported a greater increase than single women in some positive feelings and a greater decrease in some negative feelings than singles. Before the pandemic, feeling gratitude was greater among married partners than dating or single partners, greater among women than among men, and greater in some cultures than in others. And changes in gratitude at the peak of the pandemic varied across cultures.
