The advanced 3D geometric recording methods of post-Byzantine monuments involve the use of LiDAR technology. This paper examines the application of two different LiDAR measurement devices, the Leica BLK360 Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) and the GeoSLAM ZEB-REVO Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) scanner, in the 3D documentation and 2D drafting of a post-byzantine bath in Thessaloniki, Greece. The methodologies, data processing, and comparative analysis of the results from these devices are presented.

摘要

The advanced 3D geometric recording methods of post-Byzantine monuments involve the use of LiDAR technology. This paper examines the application of two different LiDAR measurement devices, the Leica BLK360 Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) and the GeoSLAM ZEB-REVO Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) scanner, in the 3D documentation and 2D drafting of a post-byzantine bath in Thessaloniki, Greece. The methodologies, data processing, and comparative analysis of the results from these devices are presented.
