Decays and Liquidations
摘要
The Astrophysical Observatory, which focuses on researching stellar magnetic fields, had been setting global standards in its field since the mid-1970s. At a conference in 1983 on "Star and Planetary Magnetic Fields" at Telegraphenberg, top scientists from East and West discussed spectrographic observations and theoretical explanations of universal cosmic magnetic fields. The observatory celebrated its comeback on the international science event calendar but already by the end of the year, opposing forces in the department of “Geo- and Cosmos Sciences” of the Academy had formed and dissolved the successful Observatory, relocating it basically to the Sternwarte Babelsberg hence it disappeared without having been closed.
