Introduction
摘要
In this first chapter, which is introductory, a literature review is conducted on the three concepts around which this book is structured: geoheritage, geographical education, and geotourism. First, the definition of geoheritage and geomorphosites is provided, along with their relationship with geodiversity and landscape, conservation initiatives, regulations for abiotic Natural Heritage, and proposals for digitizing geoheritage. The integrative approach emphasizes the importance of geomorphology in Geography. Geographic education is understood as enhancing geographic literacy, enabling individuals to comprehend physical and socioeconomic processes, their interrelations, and resulting consequences. The discussion includes formal education, focusing on students and teachers within the educational system, and environmental education, targeting all audiences. Lastly, the concept of geotourism and conservation is explored, emphasizing the role of cultural services in geotourism and characterizing rural tourism in Spain and the Castilla y León region.
