Decentralized Identity Management System Using Blockchain Technology for Secure and Private Authentication
摘要
Traditional identity management solutions have security flaws and do not provide sufficient user control. To solve these issues, blockchain-based identity management solutions have evolved, enabling [1] self-sovereign identity and [6] increased privacy. This study examines several features of Blockchain-based identity management systems are being investigated for their deployment, privacy and security implications, and possible benefits to public services., It examines specific solutions like uPort and proposes novel approaches, such as combining blockchain with cryptography for enhanced security. Furthermore, it discusses the application of blockchain-based identity management in routing within inter-domain networks, showcasing how it enables device owners to control their data while ensuring network privacy to create intelligent blockchains, paving the way for Web 3. 0 and smart societies. Through qualitative analysis and experimentation, this research contributes to the advancement of secure, user-centric identity management systems, essential for the evolving digital landscape.
