Beginners often struggle to understand and master equipment operation. Traditional paper and oral explanations face challenges, including difficulties in providing simultaneous instruction during work and the limited availability of instructors. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a work support system that uses mixed reality (MR) technology to address these issues. The system is designed for university-level circuit experiments, enabling students to work independently by overlaying operating procedures and supplementary information directly onto their real-world environment. We assessed the effectiveness of the MR support system on reducing work time and alleviating the instructional burden on educators.

摘要

Beginners often struggle to understand and master equipment operation. Traditional paper and oral explanations face challenges, including difficulties in providing simultaneous instruction during work and the limited availability of instructors. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a work support system that uses mixed reality (MR) technology to address these issues. The system is designed for university-level circuit experiments, enabling students to work independently by overlaying operating procedures and supplementary information directly onto their real-world environment. We assessed the effectiveness of the MR support system on reducing work time and alleviating the instructional burden on educators.
