摘要

This study examines the impact of transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) on energy systems in modern megacities. Using the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine for 2030 as a framework, the paper discusses global trends in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the adoption of EVs and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies. It highlights challenges for power generation systems, focusing on energy efficiency and capacity requirements to replace internal combustion engine vehicles with EVs. The findings reveal significant opportunities for emissions reduction, aligning with EU policies for sustainable urban mobility and supporting the integration of renewable energy solutions in metropolitan areas.
