A Comprehensive Malayalam Speech Database for Forensic Speaker Profiling and Authentication in Varied Acoustic Environments
摘要
This work presents the creation of a comprehensive speech database for the Malayalam language, designed to support a wide range of forensic applications. The database includes speech samples collected from speakers across various dialects, with variations in height, weight, and speaking positions. It aims to address key forensic challenges such as predicting speaker height and weight, identifying speaking positions, analyzing the number of concurrent speakers, and studying the effects of environmental noise on speaker recognition. Additionally, the dataset facilitates the detection of speech forgery and supports dialectical studies, enriching the forensic investigation process. The design of this dataset ensures its utility in forensic speaker profiling, contributing to the advancement of accurate and reliable forensic speech analysis. The potential applications of this dataset span from criminal investigations to broader security and law enforcement contexts, offering valuable insights for experts working in forensic acoustics.
