Age-related changes involve structural deterioration of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and deeper anatomical components, leading to volume loss, skin laxity, and decreased collagen and elastin production. This chapter explores the role of ART in restoring lost volume using autologous adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and the stromal vascular fraction (SVF), alongside the action of EBDs that stimulate neocollagenesis through controlled thermal injury. Various EBD technologies, including monopolar radiofrequency (such as Thermage®) [1–3], high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) (such as Ultherapy®), and fractional laser resurfacing, are examined for their mechanisms of action, patient selection, and treatment protocols. This chapter highlights the importance of combining ART with EBDs to enhance collagen remodeling, improve skin texture, and restore facial contours. Additionally, the use of laser-assisted procedures like Endolift® demonstrates how interstitial laser technology contributes to skin tightening and fat remodeling through targeted photothermal effects.
