Autologous Regenerative Therapy (ART) is an innovative approach to tissue rejuvenation that harnesses the body’s own cells and biological components, minimizing the risk of rejection or adverse reactions. This book explores the role of the extracellular matrix (ECM) in skin aging and examines the impact of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) on collagen degradation and other key structural elements of the skin. A particular focus is given to adipose tissue, which is rich in mesenchymal stem cells and the stromal vascular fraction (SVF), both of which contribute significantly to regenerative processes.
