Opensource Unified Endpoint Management Software for Nanosatellites
摘要
The paper considers the prospects for the use and advantages of modern SMART-satellites created on the basis of cyber-physical systems. It is shown that the main problem in the development of SMART-satellites is the lack of open software for the introduction of computing devices (SMART-devices) and various payloads on board SMART-satellites. The paper considers the relevance of developing an open software package for centralized control of target end devices of modern nanosatellites. The architecture of cyber-physical systems is given. The existing software tools for controlling the onboard microcomputers of nanosatellites are noted. The main functionality of modern software systems developed for ultra-small spacecraft, such as CubeSat format nanosatellites, is described. A comparison of monolithic and microservice architecture is given. The article clarifies the features of these architectures, highlights the advantages and disadvantages. The fundamental principles for designing the architecture of a software package are described. The advantages of using this approach when creating a software complex are shown. It is proposed to use a simulation model of a nanosatellite for operational debugging and testing of the software complex of smart devices. The authors of the work show the structure of the software package and show the place of the simulation model in it.
