Missions Analysis of Electric Propulsion Spacecraft to Small Bodies of the Solar System
摘要
Small celestial bodies in the solar system (asteroids, comets, planetary moons) have recently become popular research objects for space missions due to their scientific and technological superiority as valuable natural resources located near the Earth. The shape of asteroids and comets, and as a result, their gravitational fields have complex irregular structures. Studying the gravitational field of small celestial bodies is also important for planned surface exploration missions and landing on asteroids and comets. The problem of the formation of motion control by an electric rocket spacecraft near an object with an irregular gravitational field is considered. The authors are considering the possibility of using a low thrust engine for exploration of asteroids by spacecraft. In this document, the authors define a locally optimal low thrust engine control program that ensures a stable trajectory.
