Machining occupies a significant volume in the technological processes of production and requires an increase in its efficiency. One of the ways to increase the productivity and quality of machining is to process metals with blade tools according to the milling scheme with ultra-high cutting speeds—ultra-high-speed milling. The paper presents the results of approbation of equipment and tools. It is shown that equipment for ultra-high-speed milling can be created on the basis of existing milling machines by their reconstruction with the replacement of the main drive with high-speed electric spindles with their power sources, equipping with chip suction systems, and upgrading the feeding system. The tool requires calculations taking into account inertial loads, critical rotational speed, permissible imbalance, and natural oscillation frequency.
