Planning a Radio Tomography Experiment in the Upper Ionosphere Using Navigation Measurements
摘要
The condition of conducting a tomographic experiment on a nanosatellite to estimate the electron density of the ionosphere and to detect ionospheric disturbances is considered. A technique for the formation and analysis of the total electron content (TEC) in issue of ionospheric tomography based on measurements of carrier phases and pseudoranges obtained on a navigation receiver is presented. Using the considered technique, a sample of data from FormoSat-7/COSMIC-2 satellites were analyzed, and areas were found on which the tomographic problem can be solved.
