This work is an extension of the ArchiTXT structuration algorithm. Building on its model-agnostic data representation, we propose a translation algorithm that can convert any instance in this meta-model into either a relational or a property graph database. Furthermore, we demonstrate the model’s versatility by providing translations from documents, relational databases, and graph databases towards the meta-model. This provides a fully bidirectional translation algorithm that allows databases to be converted between other models. This also paves the way for future work involving the application of the ArchiTXT structuration algorithm to database instances for automatic data integration.
