Women in Clinical and Academic Medicine, How to Enable Well-Being, and Train Resilience
摘要
This chapter explains work-related stress and stressors. Understanding the causes of stress and how to improve stress management will improve well-being of academic professionals and physicians, especially women. To better prevent stress-related symptoms, female physicians’ challenges as one particular professional group as well as on discrimination dynamics of minorities in the academic field will be discussed. Finally, individual interventional measures are presented for a solution-oriented collaboration of all participants in the medical field. Training may enhance resilience.
