Industry 4.0 made cross-sector data integration and digitization possible with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With Industry 5.0, the emphasis has been changed to a change that is society-oriented and human-centered. The objective now involves tackling societal issues related to digitalization, even though automation, artificial intelligence, and human-machine cooperation are still crucial. In accordance with Industry 5.0 principles, this study suggests an approach to change that emphasizes co-creation, inclusion, and human participation. All stakeholders are actively involved in the process, which draws from scientific and experiential knowledge. A healthcare case study in a nursing home serves as an example of its use.
