This can be established by the visualization of the links between academic studies, industrial productions, and innovation managements. Utilization of the biological source is a renewable and sustainable strategy to incorporate nature into real life. As a great biological source, microalgae bioprocess has considered as cost-effective and sustainable productions that developed based on the utilization of inorganic carbon source and solar energy. In a general, these microorganisms are responsible for sustainable development to maintain clean water, clean energy, in the framework of climate action. In this context, microalgal world includes alternative cultures for the production of pigments in a wide range of colors and bioactivities, which have the potential use in various industries as foods, pharmaceutics, cosmetics, textile, and aquaculture. Microalgae bioprocess from laboratory to commercial scale need to be underlined from the view of industrial perspective to demonstrate their capacity in industrial areas. The key is the realization of this purpose is taken under the consideration all the steps from upstream to downstream to achieve modern industrialization. This chapter aims to focus novel advanced technologies in microalgae pigment production systems towards emphasizing the impacts of Industry 5.0 on the current market opportunities and ecological aspect.
