Realism and Idealism

Ontological naturalism and idealism are not opposing views. Instead, there are even many scientifically motivated reasons to accept some form of idealism. Idealism in this context defines itself by the claim that the essential structural qualities of ordinary objects are the making of the brain. If we believe that these qualities are not isomorphic to qualities in the world then, by my definition, we count as an idealist.
