Metaphysics suffers from two problems. First, metaphysics is most commonly conceived as being a practice prior to the sciences which is at least in the case of material object metaphysics incorrect. Second, many scientific claims on which metaphysical theories depend on are simply wrong or just completely wrong headed due to the use of concepts that physicists would never use.
